Lowri's Surprise Birthday Treat Captured on Live TV
Welsh language television presenter Lowri Morgan is used to
getting into some tricky positions to keep her on her toes on S4C's popular
children's programme Uned 5. Even the intrepid Lowri was not prepared for the live on air birthday treat her colleagues at Antena
Television had planned. Lowri - who hails from nearby Gowerton
- turned up at Clyne Farm Centre in Swansea expecting to watch pupils from
Ysygol Gyfun Gwyr, her old comprehensive school in her home town - complete
Challenge Valley - the muddiest assault course in the world!!!. At the start of
the programme her fellow presenter Lisa broke the news that Lowri would be
joining the children as part of her birthday treat!
But
the surprise didn't end there... while Lowri was getting very muddy (monkey bars
are not Lowri's strong point - we hope our choice of music captures that sinking
feeling!) Lisa had rushed off to Clyne's dining room to put
the finishing touches to a birthday party with cake, jelly and blancmange,
sandwiches, squash and crisps plus twenty children from Lowri's old primary
school Brynymor in Swansea Do
