So the Wales Rally GB has to move
because Wales are playing Australia at the Millennium Stadium on
29th November. The rally is now running from Thursday 4th
December to Sunday 7th December - that's of course unless that
most decisive of institutions - The Welsh Rugby Union - don't
come up with some other better money making scheme!
For 2009 the Millennium Stadium
cannot be used for the Saturday night sprint - we have our ideas
about what would make a much better event - an urban
forest stage in Swansea - half a mile from the Service
Centre!
What doesn't change is that few places can match Clyne Farm Centre when it comes to
providing for spectators and competitors for the Wales Rally GB which is
why we get booked up well in advance. In 2006 we backed the Dutch
Paradigit team of Arjen de Koning and
Piet van Hoof who we are expecting back again along with up and
coming Midlander Matte Beebe who tied up the British
Championship in his class. Matt returned and booked his lucky
cottages for 2007 along with other teams from New Zealand and
journalist Tony Jardine!
We're five miles from the M4 and the
closest self catering to Swansea Service Park which has moved
into the new SA1 development in Swansea Docks (check
location) and close to the City of Swansea with plenty to keep you entertained at
night. Plenty of parking close to cottages

Lodge are 800m north of Clyne Farm with their own mile long forest
stage to get there!). If you stay at Cardiff you are at least 40
miles along a speed camera infested motorway from the main action. Accommodation details

This really is the alternative to
expensive hotels, guesthouses or bed and breakfast we've special rally prices
on all our self catering cottages -
there's no extra charge for the two which have their own special forest stage before you reach them!
We also have Bed and Continental Breakfast
specials for one or more night stays - subject to availability.
Accommodation
Availability Our three and four star graded self catering
cottages sleep between four and eight people with some interconnecting
to sleep up to sixteen. We have safe parking for cars and equipment
vehicles. We have an area where cars can be worked on (see
