The staff at Clyne farm are friendly and i enjoyed my stay at the centre, my favourite activities included challenge valley, archery and indoor climbing. I also enjoyed watching the staff have fun.

I used to come riding at clyne all the tine and then stopped because i bought my own, i came back the other day and i think you hva egone down hill. The horses didnt loom very healthy and were under weight. whn they were tied up the lead rope was just cliped to the bit with if the horse pulled back could seriously hust their mouth. i rode pepsi and she seemed tird and slugish witch she never seemed to be. also the lady who took me out had he safty stirups the wrong way so they were no use at all. I noticed melodys tail had been cut and it looks awful, it mniles to short there seems to be no reason. i dont mean to critisie the farm as i used to really love coming up but this has really put me of and it is dangourous.

I'd just like to say that my friend goes riding up the farm and has told me that Ben and Tom are underweight because they have been ill in the past; Ben because he was off work for months and months because of a bad foot; and Tom coughs a lot because of something like asthma which makes him lose weight. When i went up with my friend all the horses looked happy and healthy enough. PS: I think Holly is lovely

I brought of number of my guides for a day at the farm. They all enjoyed the archery, climbing and especially the ponies. They all got very muddy on the assault course. Two of my girls forgot to bring a change of clothes (we stayed in Llangennith for the weekend) and so had to borrow a bin bag each! I am not naming names but they know know there are!! i am sure they will remember everything next time. Thank you to all the staff - I hope you dont want the bin bags back?!! What a Fantastic holiday !!! stayed in Chapel Barn June 20th week 2003.Went Horse Riding everyday thanks to Tom and Ginny. Hello Just to say thank you very much for putting up with us. I am sorry that we could not stay for the whole week as I was looking forward to the assault course! Hi. I came down a few weeks ago to do the assault course. I really enjoyed getting muddy. We have pizza and chips afterwards which were really nice. I will be coming back to Wales in a few months and hope to come back and do the assault course again. P.S. How do you keep the assault course so muddy?!!!

Well it never rains in Wales, so we rely on natural springs that run all throughout the muddiest assault course in the world!!

We have a limit on the age and number of children who can stay and help. If you want to stay at the stables for longer than your ride, book in for an Adopt A Pony day (or half day).

Hiya, I used to ride up Clyne every Sunday and mostly rode Pepsi and Charlie allthough I enjoyed riding the others and helped out with stable duties and leading. I wanted to say that since I moved from West Cross and stopped going to Clyne, I really miss it so much! If only I had the money to carry on up there, i'm glad to see that you're still going strong and it's lovely to see your new additions in the stables! By the way, horses and ponies are measured in hands from the ground to their withers, each hand equals about 10cm (4in). For example if a pony stands at 13hh it measures about 130cm (52in)to it's withers. A measuring stick is used which has the hands marked on. -x- Dear Clyne, I just wanted to add that I think your site is brill and is the first site I go on to, I just had an idea that maybe you can add some games onto it, for example the muddy assault course, or do courses on horses where you could chose which Clyne pony to ride-just an idea, what do you think? x x x

How are you going to get all of the horses passports done before the June 2004 cut off date?

Horse passports will not be introduced in Wales for at least two years. Don't believe what the BHS tells you and if you are looking for horse passports don't pay them £35 - the Veteran Horse Society does it for £5 for any horse or pony whatever the age

HEY, JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SAY WHAT A WICKED WEEKEND WE HAD FOR LAURAS HEN NIGHT LAST WEEKEND. What is adopt a pony? what do you do when you adopt one?

When you adopt a pony you look after it, groom it, feed it clean (muck out) its stable and get to ride it (half an hour on a half day which costs £18 plus £1 hat hire and one and a half hours on a full day - £35 plus £1 hat hire). It's is really good fun and you learn a lot (we have a horsey activity book as well)

Hia id like to say hi to all the saturday regulars u know who you r and we had the coolest ride on saturday. I was riding Puzzles but her bark is definitely not worst than her bite, Sam found out the hard way. Anyway back to the ride we went this route we hadn't been on for ages as the plants had grown over it but the instructors had cut it back. Puzzles trot is really had to rise to and she really needs to lose wait as the saddle kept on slipping. We were having a gallop by Keepers Cottage but all the horses except for Puzzles and Mel bombed off and all the others had to turn back cos Lauren and i got lost. It was really scary when we came to this narrow path and to our right was a hill and to our left was like a ten foot drop. I'd like to say thanks to Emma, Puzzles, Lauren, Dale, Sam and all their horses for such a great time. I was talking 2 my friend who went riding the other day and was discusted!!! They payed for an hour ride and only had 20 mintes because it was too dangerous. I can understand that beacause of the snow but they didnt even get their money bak and was going to start riding up there but am not now !!! which is a shame because i hav heard many good and fun stories but it seems like a lie 2 me now !!!! Kenny.

We have had snow on two days this winter. The first day we cancelled the rides because it was too dangerous. The second day (last Saturday) we only had one 1 hour ride. That went out for the full hour but it was not a fast ride - why? because it is too dangerous to canter on icy ground - both for the rider and the horse. If you enquire with the riders I think you will see that they get very good value for the time that they send at Clyne Farm. We look forward to seeing you Kenny!

We stayed at Clyne Farm for Christmas a few years ago. I would reccommend it for anyone. Had a lovely time getting away from it all. The farm looks beautiful in the snow.

Dear Readers, I'm sorry to say that Clyne Farm did not intrest me in any way at all.I have recently participated in the horse rinding and mudy assult course facility and honestly it was a waste of money.Seen as the horses we not friendly,and the muddy assult course smelt of manure. Both I am my Frineds agree with the statments made above. I strongly advise you not to go here.

My son and I enjoyed our stay at Clyne Farm. I think people should realize that it is a working farm and so the toilets and showers were fine but not spotless. We arrived around 4pm and were desperate for a swim. A member of the staff directed us to a wonderful beach involving a short drive and lovely walk along the cliffs. Also the campsite offers a useful shed close to the campsite where you can wash up etc and they also provide the use of a fridge/freezer which I have never seen at other camp sites.

Anonymous comments are removed but in this case we will answer the points raised. You visited with a group of 89 primary school children and 20 staff on a very wet day. Surprisingly that number of people do use toilets (there were seven available) and toilet rolls and they were replenished before the were empty. There was soap in the soap dispensers but we also supplied you with soap bars. There were two members of Clyne Farm staff 'floating' to check for any problems. The majority of children did Challenge Valley - the muddiest assault course in the world!! - and the corridor to the showers was kept as clean as possible and cardboard place on the floor. It is not a games room but a foyer containing drink and snack machines (perhaps you noticed that these ran out of some items which were replaced). The pool table had a cover and it was used as a dumping ground for bags - the pool table was not in use as it was not part of the activity programme. In spite of the weather and the failure of some teachers to supervise their groups it all went remarkably well as 89 children and 19 staff will testify
