Dylan Thomas was a free spirit who grew up and was influenced by the ‘..lovely, ugly..’ town of Swansea. His poetry and prose reflected this love not only of the urban area but of the beauty of the Gower Peninsula and Mumbles.

This new performance brought together local actors and musicians to perfom extracts from Dylan Thomas's work including 'Under Milk Wood' and 'Return Journey' and some specially composed harp music by Delyth Jenkins. All together with a unique insight into the 'fine yellow-haired boy' - from friends and family - from birth to death...

The backdrop to the unique open air stage was the stunning view from Clyne Farm over Mumbles Head. To keep away the chill a free bowl of Cawl made with local produce was included in the ticket price.

Coming soon - 2004 Dylan Thomas Drama workshops for writers, directors, actors, stage assistants, marketing - your own production in a week!
