Horseshoe
Cottage |
November
The Lagden Family from Ascot, Berkshire
|
"A really enjoyable stay. Horseshoe Cottage has been very comfortable and cosy and we loved the farmyard atmosphere, with all the animals a plenty roaming around. The horse riding is a must and we have all enjoyed our lessons, hacks etc. Laura has been a very competent and friendly guide. In fact, the whole staff have been very helpful. Langland Bay has an excellent coastal path. Weather was mixed, ranging from 96.6 moh gales to warm sunshine! But this has not mattered in the grand scheme of things. We hope to return here in the future. We have made friends with Gwen the farm dog and the white cat. Both of them have tremendous appetites!" |
June
The Slacks from Buckingham.
|
"This is our second visit to Clyne Farm and again we have enjoyed it very much. Weather has improved with each day. We have found so many lovely little beaches and the Heritage Centre was most interesting. Verdi's is a must if you like Italian food and the ice creams are wonderful. We are all going home a few pounds heavier but who cares! Thanks to Geoff for all his
advice and help. We shall return all being well next year." |
April
The Harrington Family from Oxfordshire
|
"Our second visit to Clyne and as big as hit as this time as last! The kids tried most of the activities but found a favourite with the ponies. Had a chance also to explore the Gower and its many beaches. The Mumbles pier also gave entertainment and Verdi's ice creams and sundaes are out of this world. Clyne Gardens lovely and the Country Park very pleasant for walking the dog. Good beer and value meals at the Joiners,
Bishopston."
The Harrington Family have booked for their fourth visit |

Byron's Barn |
August
Luck Ankin (aged 10 ½) and the Ankin Family
|
"I absolutely love my room which is upstairs. I love the
colour. And I'm lucky that it's the twin room because I can sleep in which ever bed I want to. And if I want to I can sleep in one bed one of the days and the other the other of the days. Mum and Dads room is nice, but not as nice as mine. The bathroom is nice and when you go in there, it is so nicely decorated that you forget you are in a barn/cottage. The kitchen/lounge is nice and
cosy." Lucy
"Facilities were good, we all enjoyed the horse riding and the taster morning for the activities was a good idea. The staff were always very helpful and kind especially as Chris (husband) is partially sighted, everybody couldn't have helped more. It made the week so much more relaxing. Byron's Barn could have done with two extra things to make the week even better, shower curtain and carpet sweeper. Thanks again everyone."
