Barn Owl Lodge
| Set in 750
acres of the Clyne Valley Country Park. The Keeper's Cottage was
once the home of the gamekeeper for the Clyne Estate - home of
Swansea's copper barons the Vivian family. The property has been
extended to make Barn Owl Lodge a modern addition. The properties are
just a mile and a half from the beautiful Gower Coast but are
completely secluded down a mile long stone track, which allows
visitors to enjoy the wild beauty at a slow and leisurely pace.
Each cottage has it's own patio and shared use of a 1½ acre garden
with a paddock for visitor's own pony (by arrangement).

The cottage
takes its name from the pair of barn owls who nest in the adjoining
barn. Entrance hall. Spacious living/dining room with electric fire,
colour TV and video, rugs on wooden floor, glazed extension
overlooking pond. Double bedroom. Twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom. Bathroom/WC with over bath shower. Shower room/wc. First floor:
Two twin bedded rooms each with a sloping ceiling (one with 2' 6''
beds). Under the roof is a little hideaway (or 'cwtch') with floor
cushions and an additional portable tv. |
